Windows Logo

PowerArchiver has been downloaded by tens of millions of users worldwide. PowerArchiver 2010 offers hundreds of features, yet remains easy to use, small and fast. Novice users will find a familiar interface complete with tutorial and detailed help, while more experienced users can take advantage of full Explorer integration, multiple encryption methods and advanced compression algorithms.

You can select between the two versions of PowerArchiver: Standard and Professional.

http://www.powerarchiver.com/features/compare.php

PowerArchiver 2010 Professional Features:
Create and Mount ISO Files

PowerArchiver 2010 enables you to create ISO images, either by ripping the CD/DVD/BD with Disc Grabber, or directly with files from your hard disk. With PowerArchiver’s Virtual Drive feature, you can also mount .ISO images into Windows so they appear like a normal drive and you can browse inside.
CD/DVD/Blu-ray Burner

In addition to creating and mounting .ISO images, you can now burn archives, images and any files directly from PowerArchiver or via Explorer Shell Extensions to a CD, DVD or Blu-ray disc. Once you’re done, you can verify the burned files to make sure everything was burned correctly and without errors.
Built-in FTP Client

Save time with PowerArchiver 2010! No longer do you need to open a separate file transfer program to upload or download files or archives. PowerArchiver 2010 includes a built-in FTP client so you can connect to a remote server, view and retrieve files, and easily upload archives or the files contained in them.
Advanced Backup

PowerArchiver’s Backup feature has been expanded to include direct CD/DVD/BD burning of your backup archives, 3 possible local destionations, 7-Zip compression, detailed logs that can be e-mailed, and an advanced built-in scheduler.
PowerArchiver 2010 Features:
Preview Window

With PowerArchiver 2010, you can now easily preview archives, images, text and many other file types directly in PowerArchiver without having to open archive or file. The Preview feature works both while browsing hard drives and inside archives, with full support for WLX plug-ins.
Full Windows 7 Support

Full Windows 7 support with jump lists, taskbar progress and taskbar icon overlays. First archiver to do so.

You do not need to worry about compatibility problems with PowerArchiver if you are using or considering upgrading to Windows 7 – we have done extensive testing to ensure everything works perfectly. PowerArchiver also runs great on all other Windows versions, from Windows 98 to Windows Vista, both 32-bit and 64-bit versions.
Brand new ZIP Engine

ZIP Support PowerArchiver offers superior ZIP format support compared to other archivers. Here are the highlights:

    * Multicore deflate zip engine, almost 4x faster than single core systems on quad core computers.
* Improved speed of zip compression and extraction on any occassion.
* Support for LZMA, PPMd, BZIP2 and WAVPACK in ZIP, according to latest ZIP standards. Both write and read support, making PowerArchiver only application that supports Winzip 12 and earlier files, while providing faster and stronger compression (up to 4x) compared to WinZip 12.
* Full support for new .zipx extension for advanced compression methods (except .jpg).
* Multicore LZMA engine for ZIP.
* Support for Unicode in ZIP, both read and write. Implemented throughout application.
* ZIP AES support (both PkZip 5.1 and WZ 9.0 standards supported)
* Multiple disk spanning, with support for unlimited span sizes

7-Zip Compression

7-Zip is an advanced compression format featured in PowerArchiver. It is an open source format, providing an open architecture and high compression ratio. 7-Zip outperforms ZIP, ACE and even RAR in many tests. However, 7-Zip’s greatest strength is that it is not controlled by any organization or individual, but by an open source LGPL project to which anyone can contribute. More information on 7-Zip and its superior compression can be found at 7-Zip.org.

PowerArchiver also features a Transparent Update feature for 7-Zip archives, which allows you to quickly add or remove files even if the archive is “Solid.”
Superior RAR extraction

In PowerArchiver 2010, we have spent months of development time to custom tune extraction of RAR archives. End result is that we now have the fastest RAR extraction engine on the market, which extracts up to 30% faster than everyone else, including WinRar!
Multiple Formats Support Including ISO

PowerArchiver has native support for most popular compressed and encoded formats currently in use. All formats are fully integrated into PowerArchiver, so you can utilize all PowerArchiver tools with each of them.

    * Read and write support for ZIP, 7-ZIP, CAB, LHA (LZH), TAR, GZIP, BZIP2, BH, XXE, UUE, yENC, and MIME (Base 64)
* Read and extract support for: RAR, ARJ, ARC, ACE, ZOO plus ISO, BIN, IMG and NRG disc image formats
* Brand new Plug-in System enables new formats and file types to be supported with a small download.

New Queue System (Add/Extract/Backup) and PowerArchiver Starter

An innovative Queue System has been added to PowerArchiver. This is the first time such an option is available in compression utility, and it enables you to better organize your compression, extraction and backups, as well as schedule multiple jobs to be done sequentially without slowing down your system – as multiple compressions would do if run all at once. Another first for PowerArchiver.

PowerArchiver Starter is a brand new system tray application for managing your Queue and launching the most recently used archives and backups. PowerArchiver Starter has been written in an assembler-like language for minimum size and memory usage.
Unmatched Security

EncryptPowerArchiver comes with an unprecedented level of security features. Not only does it fully support the new ZIP AES standard, PowerArchiver also offers its proprietary PAE standard for additional security with five different encryption methods. For ease of use, the PowerArchiver Password Manager will save your frequently used passwords so you do not need to remember them.

    * Full support for ZIP AES encryption, 128-bit/192-bit/256-bit (supports: PKZip 5.1 (full), Secure Zip 8.0 and WinZip 9.0 AE-1 & AE-2)
* PAE support – Encryption of files and archives using 5 different methods: Blowfish (128-bit), DES (64-bit), Triple DES (128-bit), AES 128-bit, and AES 256-bit

Automated Backups

Backup Security vulnerabilities have become a major problem in Windows, which means it is critical to backup and protect your important data. With PowerArchiver’s built-in Backup Wizard, it is a breeze to backup your files.

By using a step-by-step wizard, you will be able to add files and folders, filter them based on your specifications, use 5 different compressions formats, add password protection, and even upload your backup to an FTP or SFTP (SSH) server directly!

To keep your backups secure from prying eyes, you can also encrypt the archives using ZIP AES encryption.
Guaranteed Compatibility and Explorer Integration

Explorer Integration PowerArchiver has pioneered advanced Shell Extensions that let you compress, extract and encrypt files using one click from within Windows Explorer — without opening PowerArchiver. In PowerArchiver 2010, we have improved shell extensions even more and added comress/extract MRU and FTP profiles so you can FTP directly from shell extensions!

Not only that, but PowerArchiver also offers an option to use an Explorer-like interface for browsing your hard drive for archives, which also supports shell integration.

PowerArchiver features Hybrid Shell Extensions, which puts less frequently used options in an easy to access submenu.
Compression Profiles

For ease of use, PowerArchiver has Compression Profiles that store frequently used compression settings. You can select a compression profile when performing operations in PowerArchiver and save considerable time.
Useful Tools

Multi-Extract PowerArchiver has the most advanced set of tools that you can use to manage your archives:

    * Convert Tool – convert files among formats supported in PowerArchiver. It can convert thousands of files and folders at the same time.
* Encode Tool – encode/decode files in UU, XX, MIME and yENC formats.
* Repair Tool – repair broken ZIP archives with one simple operation.
* Write/Merge Multivolume Tools – split ZIP files into multivolumes, and also merge multivolumes into a single ZIP archive.
* Batch ZIP Tool – batch compress thousands of files into separate archives.
* Multi-Extract Tool – extract thousands of archives at the same time.
* SFX Tool – Create SFX files from ZIP, 7-Zip, CAB and PAE archives via the “Make SFX” feature or with the easy-to-use SFX Wizard.

DAEMON Tools is a virtual cd/dvd-rom emulator and is able to emulate nearly all known copy protections on the market today.

The application mounts ISO images to a virtual drive without having to burn them to a CD.

It is a further development of Generic Safedisc emulator and incorporates all its features. This program allows running Backup Copies of SafeDisc (C-Dilla), Securom, Laserlock, CDCOPS, StarForce and Protect CD (and many others) protected games. Daemon Tools also includes a Virtual DVDROM drive (Generic DVD-ROM) enabling you to use your CD images as if they were already burned to CD. DAEMON Tools works under Windows9x/ME/NT/2000/XP with all types of CD/DVDROM drives (IDE/SCSI) and supports nearly any CD protection.

DAEMON Tools supports the following image files:

cue/bin

iso

ccd (CloneCD)

bwt (Blindwrite)

mds (Media Descriptor File)

cdi (Discjuggler)

nrg (Nero)

pdi (Instant CD/DVD)

b5t (BlindWrite 5)

The latest version of DAEMON Tools (4.03) is bundled with SaveNow, an adaware product of WhenU. The installation is optional, however, and can be deselected during the install process.

Hamachi

LogMeIn Hamachi is a zero-configuration virtual private networking (VPN) application.

In other words Hamachi is a program that allows you to arrange multiple computers into their own secure network just as if they were connected by a physical network cable.

Hamachi is fast, secure and simple. Its core version is also free.

Hamachi gives you LAN over the Internet.

Virtually any application that works over local/home networks can also be used over Hamachi networks.

Think – Windows File Sharing, iTunes, Remote Desktop, Remote Assistance or even gaming – all fully encrypted, authenticated and peer-to-peer.

Hamachi is a zero-configuration virtual private networking application with an open security architecture and NAT-to-NAT traversal capabilities.

Hamachi is the first application to mix seemingly unrelated networking technologies in one powerful package to deliver an unprecedented level of direct peer-to-peer connectivity.

Hamachi is secure. All Hamachi communications are encrypted and authenticated with industry-standard algorithms and protocols. Nobody will be able to see what two Hamachi peers are talking about. Not even us.

However what is equally important – Hamachi security architecture is completely open meaning that its detailed description is available to anyone interested for review and validation.

Great effort went into designing and polishing the Hamachi user interface. The result is sleek, simple and intuitive; yet still very functional. Everything you need, nothing you don’t.

Hamachi software contains no spyware, bannerware or any other -ware unrelated to its purpose. And it never will.

“Even minor configuration changes made to servers can potentially”
Even minor configuration changes made to servers can potentially Impact your users and cause major disruptions to businesses. Every time a change is made, it makes a lot of sense to properly document and communicate it, especially when the servers are maintained by multiple team members. Another example is very common: changes made yesterday broke your systems, and you don’t remember the old settings. A popular Web Resource for IT professionals, TechRepublic, considers failure to maintain change documentation the 3rd among 10 worst things IT professionals can do. Logging all changes manually is a time consuming and error-prone task, and requires signficant efforts in environments of all sizes, whether you have 1 server or a thousand. Also beware of unauthorized changes, because nobody will ever document them at all.

NetWrix Server Configuration Monitor is a free tool for automated auditing and reporting of all changes made to server confgurations: hardware devices, drivers, software, services, networking settings, etc. The tool centrally monitors multiple servers and sends daily summary reports about any changes detected through the last day. New hardware devices, driver upgrades, changes to services and applications – no change will pass behind the scenes, no matter who made it and how. you can free download Server Configuration Monitor now.

A small Delphi application that can generate sparse matrices of various sizes and densities (the density of a sparse Matrix is the percent of non-zero elements is contains) and that features 3 (actually more like 2 ) bandwidth reduction algorithms

My implementations of the CutHill-McKee algorithm and of the genetic algorithm are by no means optimal (the genetic algorithm is also slightly modified). As such, both algorithms perform relatively poor (in terms of speed) compared with their creators’ estimations. The main purpose of this project however, was to show that in the field of NP-complete problem solving, metaheuristic approaches, although considered rather slow, can be expected to produce results of very good quality. you can free download Bandwidth reduction 1.00 now.

“Freeware LAN scanner that resolves NetBIOS, MAC, IP addresses, HTTP servers.”
This freeware Network Scanner displays active computers with logged user names (NetBIOS), MAC and IP addresses. It also recognizes and shows HTTP (Web) servers running on remote computers (TCP ports 80, 8080), quickly detects online computers, allows to browse shared resources of remote computer and save results to a text file. You can enter IP range to scan, run the program from a command line interface.

Key features overview:

- Browsing shared resources on remote computers
Bopup Scanner allows to open shared folders on remote computers in Windows Explorer. Right-click on a computer and then select “Browse…” from the pop-up menu.

- Exploring HTTP servers
Bopup Scanner recognizes HTTP (Web) servers running on remote computers (TCP ports 80, 8080) and shows “Running” label in the “HTTP Server” column.

- Logging results
Results can be saved to a text file. Just select “Actions\Save list…” and type a file name to save.

- Changing IP range to scan
Administrators can enter IP range to scan and timeout to resolve a remote computer.

- Command line support
The program can be executed with the command line paramaters in order to specify pre-defined options, such as IP range to scan (start and end IP addresses), a path of the file where to save results. So the scanner can be used in Batch files as a tool for an automated monitoring.
To see the available command line options run the scanner.exe file with the /? or /h parameters or click More infomation… button in the About dialog. you can free download Bopup Scanner 2.1.4 now.

Reduce storage costs through disk space analysis & management.

Disk space analyzer (Disk usage analysis software) is a free software utility for the visualization of Disk Space Usage by getting the size for each folder (including subfolders) & files in folder or drive. Disk Space Analyzer generates chart showing disk usage distribution according folders and files.

A click on a drive letter will start an in depth disk space analysis of that drive which will display all files and folders from that root level on sorted by their size. It is possible to sort by name and size. A click on a folder will load the contents of that folder and display the data accordingly.

Key features:
- Scan files, folders, drives size
- Analysis of the selected drive or directory
- Graphical chart
- List of files/folders according to its criteria
